Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn is an American actress. Her most famous role is Skyler White on Breaking Bad, an AMC Drama Breaking Bad, for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and 2014 in the category of Outstanding supporting actress in a Drama Series. She performed the roles of Jean Ward and Martha Bullock and Martha Bullock, respectively, on The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in the year 1968. Her passion for acting in the Preparatory school, after which she moved to Ohio with her family in early 1970s. Anna attended the British American Drama Academy and took classes in theatre at Northwestern University. Anna started her acting career in Chicago-area theatres for a few years. Then she moved to television and film. Anna got her big break in 1992 when she appeared as Arden for 29 episodes of Down the Shore. Anna continued to appear in movies as well as TV shows such Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and other shows until the end of the 1990's. She was then cast in The Practice as Jean Ward. Martha Bullock, a character which she played for two years in Deadwood's second season. In 2008, she was cast in the role of Skyler on Breaking Bad. Sully was also one of her roles. Gunn appeared in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production directed by David Schwimmer. In 2022, Gunn starred in a four-part audio play podcast called"Numbered Days. The relationship that exists between Walter White and his wife Skyler is usually the main focus of the plot on Breaking Bad with the strained tension in their relationship, and eventually its demise mirroring the same arc of Walter White's final days of life.
